Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained Aspirus Health to conduct a search for their next Vice President, System Quality and Care Coordination.

The Vice President (VP) of System Quality and Care Coordination will collaborate with the SVP/ Chief Nurse Executive & Interim President Regional Markets and Chief Medical Officer to lead the strategic vision, priorities, and daily operations of care coordination, clinical quality, and patient safety across the Aspirus Health system. This dynamic leader will develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to optimize care delivery, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a culture of high reliability and innovation. Serving as a resource and domain expert, the VP will guide the implementation of initiatives that enhance clinical care, improve patient outcomes, and align with the organization's mission and goals.
The VP will oversee performance improvement initiatives, drive quality and safety outcomes, and integrate best practices in care coordination and population health management. By collaborating with system executives and operational teams, this leader will support organizational growth, manage care coordination programs, and advance patient experience. Responsibilities include budget development, staff engagement, and talent management, ensuring a culture of professional development, inclusivity, and accountability. Additionally, the VP will leverage healthcare technology, analytics, and data to inform decisions and promote evidence-based practices that achieve measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and financial stewardship.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in nursing and Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or business administration required. Certification in care coordination and/or quality highly desired.
Minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience with five years in an integrated healthcare system.
Minimum of five years in a similar role(s) with progressive leadership and scope.
