Patient Safety Technician - Per Diem
Assists patient with activities of daily living. Assists with meals and feeds patients as needed under the instruction of the RN. Assists in mobility and ambulation as per RN instructionAssists with reality orientation and distraction techniques: story-telling, reading, playing games, signing, etc. Ensures patient safety measures: bed alarm on, bed in low position, tubes out of reach, appropriate bed rail position, bed brakes are locked, call bell/TV control within reach of patient prior to leaving patient room.
