Patient Safety Technician, Part-time
Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Patient Safety Technician for the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work varies shift including every other weekend. Essential Function/Responsibilities:Demonstrates knowledge and insight into a variety of Mental Health disorders. Utilizes objective active listening skills with minimal advice giving to patients Utilizes a non-judgmental attitude regarding cultural, racial, socioeconomic and diagnostic issues related to the patient's level of functioning. Maintains own boundaries and does not self-disclose to patients. Seeks out clinical supervision as needed. Assists in total care and ADLs for elderly or confused patients. Actively engages
