The role you’ll contribute:
The Quality Improvement RN trains, teaches and evaluates staff in accordance with AHMG’s quality improvement strategy. This position assists Administration in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating knowledge development and practice improvement in accordance with AHMG clinical quality initiatives.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Promotes and performs continuous quality improvement monitoring, and compiles the data for trend analysis and reporting so quality action plans can be developed and implemented.
Implements the quality action plans and reports back to the CNO for revisions and other problem resolution.
Develops, plans, conducts, and documents effective training for clinical staff.
Manages staff certification and education to meet state survey requirements.
Maintains a comprehensive Infection Prevention Program with surveillance, documentation / trending, analysis of the data and monthly reports which are provided to the CNO for action. Assists with problem identification and resolution.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License.
Preferred qualifications:
Prior experience in a physician office is strongly preferred
Prior experience with Performance Improvement, Quality Assessment and Assurance, and Regulatory Management
Minimum of five years in one of the following areas: clinical nursing, health information management, or other clinical/hospital specialty
Bachelor’s Degree
