SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Investigates and monitors known or potential sources of suspected infection. Recommends infection control tactics, policies, and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by State of employment
BLS required prior to orientation completion. Must be obtained through Penn State Health or American Heart Association (AHA)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Two (2) years of prior experience preferred
Certification in Infection Control preferred
