SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to the Director of Infection Prevention and Regulatory & Accreditation and indirectly to the Hospital Epidemiologist for supervision and coordination of infection.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

A Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing or its equivalency and Registered Professional Nurse currently licensed by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners, or a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Microbiology or related field.

Infection Control Certification preferred. 

One to two years of effective experience in the area of infectious disease or related areas.
