Position Summary: The OE Consultant (Embedded) is responsible for supporting MultiCare Health System (MHS) organizational performance through leadership of improvement activities in direct alignment with the MHS mission, vision, and key organizational priorities. The scope of this function will be in both the operations of business processes and clinical practice areas throughout MultiCare Health System. The goals of this position are to provide support to MHS by improving day-to-day business and clinical operations and apply mid-range tactical interventions which enable progress toward organizational strategies. This position is located at Good Samaritan Hospital with day-to-day activities directed by the Good Samaritan Executive team.
Minimum Requirements: Seven year of facilitation, performance improvement experience or intermediate-level training required Experience facilitating rapid-cycle problem solving work sessions required Prior training or proven change management abilities for influencing and achieving collaboration preferred Prior healthcare related experience preferred Experience as team leader or team member on complex initiatives preferred Experience working in a complex, corporate environment preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Masters degree in relevant subject matter Certified in Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints or other process efficiency-based improvement methodology required
