You Will Be Responsible For:
Responsible for serving as the bariatric program clinical content expert through skilled knowledge of clinical evidence-based guidelines, national accreditation standards and regulatory (state and federal) bariatric program requirements.
Leading the bariatric interdisciplinary committee(s), in partnership with the bariatric medical director to improve clinical performance, standardize clinical processes, ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
Leading the initial and ongoing national bariatric accreditation process for assigned campus(es) by leading readiness rounds, education, and maintaining documentation to meet all accreditation standards.
Coordinating the development and deployment bariatric educational plans communicating updates on outcomes, process changes, program awareness and regulatory requirements across assigned campuses to all program staff. In addition, responsible for coordinating community education events to improve access to bariatric program resources.
Responsible for continuously evaluating bariatric program metric performance, ensuring accurate reporting of process and registry measures. Ensures registry outcome data accurately reflects clinical care provided, shares outcomes routinely with committees and clinical campus leadership.
Adheres to hospital policy for protecting patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate’s degree with six (6) or more years of relevant clinical experience, or
Bachelor's degree with three (3) or more years of relevant clinical experience.

Bariatric related nursing experience
Bariatric related nursing experience
Experience working in large healthcare systems bariatric service line
Master’s Degree in Business and/or Healthcare-related discipline (MBA, MHA, MSN, etc.)
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Current, valid State of Florida license as Registered Nurse
The Bariatric Quality & Registry Manager, in collaboration with Bariatric medical directors and campus clinical leadership, are responsible for the coordination of clinical excellence in bariatric care across the Central Florida Division. Responsible to oversee multiple assigned campuses, the manager functions as a key decision maker for the interdisciplinary team, which is responsible for monitoring and improving bariatric program performance as well as national accreditation requirements. Leads the system Bariatric Governance structure with the Bariatric Medical Director to drive clinical standardization, process measures performance and clinical outcomes. The manager facilitates the development and implementation of bariatric-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, and the community. The manager leads campus interdisciplinary teams in performance improvement and the incorporation of evidence-based practice protocols into the daily operations of the bariatrics program. The manager is responsible for analyzing outcomes to determine root causes of variation and developing corrective actions to improve bariatric outcomes and performance. The manager works with community and professional organizations to further community education and awareness about bariatric treatment and weight management. The manager actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
