The Associate VP, Quality Resource Management will direct, coordinate and manage activities of the Quality and Patient Safety Department which includes CQI, Performance Improvement, Utilization Review, and Infection Control. The individual will coordinate the Joint Commission surveys to include hospital wide compliance with Joint Commission standards.

Coordinates all PI activities hospital-wide, including compliance with JCAHO standards.
Makes appropriate referrals to hospital and medical staff committees and helps manage the planning of Clinical Performance Committee, Infection Control Committee, Optimal Resource Utilization Committee, and other committees as described in the VHC Quality Assurance Plan for Improvement.
Supports the medical staff monitoring and credentialing functions through various information-gathering activities as needed.
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing preferred.
Master's Degree in a Healthcare Related Field required.
Five years of Healthcare/Medical-Nursing/Patient Care experience required.
Three years of Demonstrated Leadership Ability required.
Data Interpretation/Presentation experience required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure in Nursing preferred.
