You Will Be Responsible For:
Promotes and performs continuous quality improvement monitoring, and compiles the data for trend analysis and reporting so quality action plans can be developed and implemented.
Implements the quality action plans and reports back to the CNO for revisions and other problem resolution.
Updates policies and procedures prior to making process changes for the practices. Monitors that staff comply with the written policies and procedures.
Develops, plans, conducts, and documents effective training for clinical staff.
Maintains in-service attendance records, competencies, classroom and make-up work, and curriculum and test inventories.
Manages staff certification and education to meet state survey requirements.
What You Will Need:
Degree in nursing required
Must be dedicated to quality and prior experience in a physician office is strongly preferred
Prior experience with Performance Improvement, Quality Assessment and Assurance, and Regulatory Management preferred
Minimum of five years in one of the following areas: clinical nursing, health information management, or other clinical/hospital specialty is preferred
The Quality Improvement RN trains, teaches and evaluates staff in accordance with AdventHealthâ™s Medical Group quality improvement strategy. This position assists Administration in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating knowledge development and practice improvement in accordance with AdventHealthâ™s Medical Group clinical quality initiatives.
