The Chief Executive Officer develops, directs and leads the organization’s mission and goals of its fourteen locations in Maricopa and Pinal counties, Arizona. The CEO develops and implements strategic and business plans; and facilitates the implementation of the programs and activities to ensure the success of the organization. The CEO also manages and supervises directors, coordinates their cohesive managerial efforts, and ensures they have the resources to execute the established plans to attain the individual department objectives towards the organization’s goals. Researches, develops and ascertains necessary funding to maintain and grow operations and programs.

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public administration, or related area
Master’s degree in business or health care administration is desirable
Eight years management experience. This must include three to five years current experience as either a CEO or a direct report to the CEO in a healthcare environment
Experience in a community-based health center is desirable
Must demonstrate a strong operational background with the ability to translate strategic vision into actions and deliverables
Must demonstrate an understanding of reimbursement and service delivery issues for health centers and the politics surrounding community health, public grants, and fundraising
