JOB SUMMARY: Create a patient-focused, high performance, high-commitment work team which supports the mission, vision and credo of the Vanderbilt Clinical Enterprise. Provide leadership to a segment of the Main Operating Room or Medical Center East Operating Room by developing goals, objectives, policies and procedures; supervising, coordinating, and evaluating the activities and performing personnel administration functions.
Evaluate organizational functions and structures to best determine the allocation and utilization of resources
Analyze and evaluate budget variance to determine cause,
Prepare justification or develop alternatives for cost containment/reduction
Create and exceed service standards utilizing key service dimension and from knowledge of patient/customer expectations and best practice
Participate in establishing service standards for the department and ensure that the service standards established for the department are met or exceeded
