Directly responsibilities for all day to day operations, regulatory compliance and quality with in Central Sterile Processing.
Responsible for oversight and training pertaining to proper documentation, inspection, assembly and sterilization for surgical instruments. Operate processing equipment Proficient in instrument decontamination and assembly and aware of available methods of sterilization and appropriateness bass on manufacture IFU.
Ensure all quality assurance documentation is recorded and monitored as required
Work in synergy with Operating room. Report any issues or concerns to OR leadership.
Mentor and provide guidance and training to staff. Schedule or created regular in-service education to ensure success of staff and department.
Manages (develop/implement instrument tracking for all processing methods
Qualifications: BS in Nursing Healthcare Administration, public health, industrial engineering or closely related fields. Minimum of 5 years of sterile processing experience and progressively more responsibility supervision/management positions. Project Management, Process Improvement, Customer Service Trade.
