The Sales Executive is a field sales representative responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business in Conifer Health Solutionsï¿½ Value-Based Care business unit. The Sales Executive is expected to generate demand and directly source multi-year engagements within the Labor, Taft-Hartley and Employer market.
The Sales Executive is the point of contact for a prospective client throughout the sales process, but will be supported by a cross-functional team to align Conifer Healthï¿½s value proposition to the prospective clientsï¿½ business, goals, and strategies and to ensure success in the transition, implementation and operalization of services for the client.
Ideal candidates for the position must have field sales experience selling healthcare and/or benefit solutions to Labor. Success in this position will be measured by contract value of sales, multi-year contracts sold, lead generation and win percentage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and maintain pipeline of qualified prospects in line with Conifer Healthï¿½s sales and growth strategy
Identify and research top prospects, developing detailed account plans that create highly effective relationships with external prospective clients
Utilize knowledge of Conifer Healthï¿½s service offerings and understanding of the clients's business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions to successfully sell Conifer Healthï¿½s capabilities
Develops and present deal reviews to inform leadership and mature opportunities, which includes maintaining highly effective relationships with internal departments such as sales, operations, finance, contracting and marketing
Develop and make sales presentations to potential clients, as well as internal constituents
Maintain accurate, complete and correct records of all opportunities in Salesforce.com, and similarly complete assigned ad-hoc status reports of pipeline or specific prospective clients
Provide field input for product enhancement and new product development Represent the company at various community events, trade shows and promotions as required

Demonstrate success in growing sales revenue by developing new account relationships. Also, must bring well-developed prospecting skills, new account development experience, and highly proactive new business development style. This will include particular strengths in deal structure/shaping and closing skills.
Able to manage all aspects of the sales cycle across revenue cycle solutions, including negotiating and closing customized deals, working closely with team (internal/external), coordinating and managing resources to effectively advance business deals to closure.
Able to develop and engage in executive level value-based conversations with senior level decision makers and put together, or deliver, value-based proposals and presentations to prospective clients.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
Minimum of 5 years sales experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in consultative sales
Preferred experience in managed Medicaid and/or managed Medicare with expertise in Provider networks, delegated service operations and/or regulatory compliance
Bachelorï¿½s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or equivalent experience.
