HR Director - Service Delivery (Hospital, Clinic Experience)
As HR Director, you will lead the Adult Ambulatory Service Delivery Team (SDT). You will also be responsible for creating and implementing HR strategy in coordination with business and HR leaders. You will serve as a resource, partner and leader in managing HR functions for multiple functions within the adult hospital and clinics in maintaining a positive and rewarding work experience for employees.
VUMC HR Service Delivery:
Our Service Delivery Team supports VUMC employees and leaders with key human resource (HR) needs. We are able to help proactively consider many perspectives that result in a best practice solutions, and we are available to provide coaching through all aspects of employment, guide employees and leaders to resolve employment concerns, clarify policy and answer employment questions, develop strategic initiatives for engagement, recognition and retention, assist in change, conflict management and mediating/facilitating conversations, and offer career development solutions.
Seven years (7) of human resource experience in areas such as employee relations consulting, recruitment, organizational development, compensation or benefits with a minimum of two (2) years in a leadership role
Hospital and/or clinic experience is required
Proven experience in employee relations
Proven experience in strategic development of actions that produce results with internal business customers
Demonstrated ability to review multiple data sources ,prepare and present concise analysis
Demonstrated ability to take complex ideas and communicate in clear and effective manner
Strong business literacy skills in both verbal and written communication.
Highly confident, self-directed, motivated and diplomatic
PHR or SPHR certification is preferred

Develop/evaluate adult nursing strategy by working with many levels of leadership (EVP, VP, Directors, Managers and Supervisors)
