The Director of Finance, Academic Medical Center will report to the Academic Medical Center Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing and coordinating key financial tasks for the organization. The role has responsibility for financial aspects of academic medical center operations, and is expected to analyze data and implement recommendations based on findings to promote profitable outcomes. Manages and leads a team through month end, year-end, and annual budgeting, with key interaction and coordination to the System-level.
Masters degree or other certification preferred, but not required.
Previous experience in an Academic Medical Center environment is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Health Administration or a related field required
Minimum of seven (7) years of accounting and finance experience in a large dynamic organization, preferably with at least three of those years in healthcare
Minimum of five (5) years of managerial experience is required.
