Reporting to the President/CEO and serving as a key member of the senior management group, the SVP/COO is responsible for ensuring the execution of the organization’s strategic plan including the accomplishment of key strategic goals, operation of the organization’s business entities (cited above), and coordination of cross-departmental senior management group activities. Direct reports include the administrators of the above entities, the director of quality assurance, the program director of therapy services, and the program director of dining services.
Select Qualifications and Experience:
The COO will ideally possess an advanced degree and leadership experience in a large, complex organization.
Experience with managing a multi-site provider of housing and related services for older adults is preferred.
The right candidate will understand the culture of a faith-based, mission-driven organization, and have operated a multi-location, multi-functional business in a fiscally responsible way.
Long-range and big-picture strategic perspective combined with a high level of financial awareness and business acumen; ability to think proactively.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Ability to build effective cross-functional teams and thrive in a complex setting featuring matrix management.
A highly visible, accessible, and collaborative leadership style.
Ability and comfort level working in a fast-paced, lean, and resident-focused environment.
