Tenet Healthcare has an immediate need for a Manager, Analytics to support Business Intelligence and Strategy. Reporting to the VP, Business Intelligence, this Dallas based role will be responsible for providing timely, reliable, and actionable analytical solutions to hospital and ambulatory operators. The job responsibilities include but not limited to:
ï¿½Design automated, stable and robust BI/Analytics solutions across the portfolio for clinical and operational staff to inform quality & safety and operational priorities
ï¿½Identify the most efficient data sources, develop statistical algorithms and standardize analyses for quality, patient experience, volume and financial measures
ï¿½Ensure data integrity, collaborating closely with Tenet EDW/BI team on data structure and interfaces for reporting.
ï¿½Develop and enhance user interface and report/dashboard displays, delivery mechanisms etc. to improve the user experience, with input from end-users
ï¿½Prioritize demand for BI / Analytics solutions, including defining the problem statement / scope, development timeline and strategic priority, with input from senior leaders
ï¿½Develop and effectively manage a roadmap of new product development and enhancement, including monitoring utilization, results etc.
ï¿½Train and educate hospital and ambulatory operators to understand and effectively use reports and dashboards.
ï¿½As needed, supervise and manage analyst(s). Accomplish team results by clearly communicating expectations, effectively planning team goals, and developing and supporting staff
ï¿½Participate in team effort to accomplish other key deliverables as needed
ï¿½Bachelor degree required in economics, statistics, computer science or related field
ï¿½Master's degree preferred
ï¿½5+ yearsï¿½ experience in a relevant data & analytics and / or healthcare field
ï¿½Proficient in data visualization tools including Tableau, Cognos / Business Objects
ï¿½Experience with statistical and report writing tools such as SQL, R and / or SAS
ï¿½Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Visio)
ï¿½Strong technical skills with emphasis on analysis of large databases.
ï¿½Strong project management, communications and team problem solving skills
ï¿½Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment
