The Manager of Infection Prevention is responsible for all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program surveillance, assessment, reporting of communicable diseases to public health, monitoring the environment for infection prevention and control risks including construction activities and providing educational activities that support the organization-wide infection prevention and control program at Valley Children's Healthcare.
Bachelor's Degree in related field with a Master’s Degree preferred or a combination of equivalent experience and education
Minimum of five years of progressive and successful experience in infection prevention, 10 years preferred
Minimum of 3 years leadership experience
An active CA license in a clinical field such as RN, Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) or other required
Certified Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) required
