Tenet Healthcare, one the largest investor owned healthcare systems in the United States, has an immediate need for a Construction Project Manager to manage construction and design projects primarily for the hospitals in California and Arizona, as well as national programs for medical equipment replacement.
This position effectively manages all new construction and major renovation projects at one or more facilities, under the supervision of the Project Director. The Project Manager is responsible for groups of small to medium size projects. Works closely with hospital leadership teams to evaluate and prioritize projects, manages the performance of design and construction teams, tracks project costs and schedules to achieve project budget and timelines, and mitigates risk through assessment of quality, scope, safety and regulatory requirements. Coordinates system and facility resources to achieve system priorities and facility project goals.
Dallas based role with up to 75% travel required.
Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering
Requires minimum 5 to 10+ years of healthcare construction experience
Demonstrated competency in the areas: of estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, end user relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, ability to communicate, both written and oral
Experience in the inspection process of projects.
Competence with PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications preferred.
Specifically: MS Office suite including Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word.
Valid driver license and clean driving record as occasional driving maybe required
