Coordination for the PQI Plan, which defines overarching long-term and short-term PQI goals, including those that are active at any given time, and assigns responsibility for different elements of and tasks required by the PQI Plan.
Implementation of quarterly/annual evaluation of the PQI plan
Management and implementation of PQI tasks and activities required by the PQI process including the identification and allocation of resources necessary for PQI functions and activities.
Development, maintenance, and distribution of the Performance and Quality Improvement Manual, which will include PQI policies, procedures, protocols, and PQI related documentation forms.
Oversight for the development of outcome and performance measures, and consolidation and review of outcomes at all levels, including management outcomes, client outcomes, measures of program and service delivery effectiveness, measures of consumer satisfaction, and organizational risk prevention activities.
The PQI Manager will work closely with the CVCA Sr. Leadership team, individual program directors and program teams on an ongoing basis to ensure that the systems developed support the PQI objectives, COA standards and regulatory requirements.
Design and develop PQI procedures, protocols and documentation for all programs and support functions.
Assist with configuring CVCA’s electronic health record for data collection and design of reports.
The performance and quality improvement system will be designed with the collaboration of participants at all levels - board, senior management, program directors and staff.
Assist in the preparation of the PQI self-study sections in CVCA’s COA reaccreditation efforts, every four years.
Facilitate meetings and identify quality-related training needs and deliver or coordinate training in conjunction with Training Manager.
Establish and oversee systems to produce outcome reports for all programs. Analyze performance/outcomes data and charts against defined parameters, benchmarks and contract requirements.
Participate in agency-wide activities, such as agency management meetings, present to Board of Directors meetings (as required), external audiences to report on PQI information.
Perform research on changes and future initiatives.
Commitment to mission and organizational sustainability
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field plus five years related experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field plus four years related experience.
Experience as a Performance & Quality Improvement manager, preferably in a non-profit behavioral health or social services agency, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Expertise developing and operationalizing a COA compliant Performance and QI program
Data collection and analytic experience in a related service industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of SPSS or any statistical database a plus.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Skilled and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access and other database systems.
Expertise in electronic health records systems e.g. Carelogic, a plus.
Ability to work harmoniously with others.
