The Senior Director of Oncology will be responsible for Appalachian Regional Healthcare System’s (ARHS) overall leadership of the Oncology Service Line, including program planning, revenue generation, operational analysis, financial analysis, problem resolution, personnel management and performance improvement. The Senior Director of oncology services will be member of both ARHS and the North Carolina Cancer Hospital’s leadership teams benefiting from the support and resources of both institutions. Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field required.
Seven (7) years of progressive operational, administrative and strategic experience in a health system or similar organization to become proficient in managing quality of care and financial performance of assigned service line.
Five (5) years of progressive oncology operational and strategic experience, in a health care system or similar organization.
