Practice Administrator/COO needed with ENT/Allergy experience in the major Atlanta metropolitan area.
The Practice Administrator/COO is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the clinic including personnel management; procurement and maintenance of equipment, supplies and services; community relations and strategic planning
Partners with physicians and advanced practice clinicians to further the mission and vision of providing excellent patient care while continuing growth and development of the clinic
This individual will have the opportunity to create new initiatives to improve efficiencies and share productivity data with physicians
Supervise staff and oversee the management of all division activities and staff; including but not limited to setting up and maintaining office systems ranging from scheduling patients, triage, billing and collection, managing front and back office staff.
Ability to manage multiple offices with centralized computer network integration.
Represents the division in its relationships with other health organizations, government agencies, and third party payers.
Oversees efforts for recruitment, employee development, performance evaluation and termination.
Provides direct approval for all practice expenditures.
Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
Oversees the business and financial affairs of the practice; oversight for expenditures and financial management.
Maintains compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, OSHA and labor laws.
Develop a reporting format to audit and monitor productivity and other key performance indicators.
Meets regularly with partner physician(s) to review financial performance and key practice performance metrics; continuously evaluating appropriateness of indicators.
Resolve any medical and/or administrative issue; ensures lines of communication are open to ensure high employee morale in a professional, healthy work environment.
Informs management about current trends, problems and medical activities to initiate new policies or facilitate improvements to current policy.
Coordinate with Business Office for credentialing /re-credentialing
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or business management; Master’s degree preferred. CMPE or FACMPE encouraged.
Minimum 5 years healthcare practice management experience preferred
Knowledge of electronic medical record system; strong computer networking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management
Proven ability to analyze, problem-solve, adapt, delegate, negotiate, and tolerate while effectively communicating, planning and organizing all with attention to detail
