Job Summary The purpose of the Director of Donor Relations is to support the Foundation's overall fundraising efforts through the planning, implementation, and coordination of engaging, purposeful and compelling stewardship and donor relations programs.
Description Develops, implements, and leads a successful and integrated donor relations program that strategically targets all levels of giving as defined by the Development team.
Ensures donors are acknowledged and recognized in a timely and compelling manner to strengthen their financial support for the Foundation. Establishes best practices in the review and coordination of all gift acknowledgments, including receipts, thank you letters, pledge statements and stewardship reports
With the Special Events team, develops meaningful recognition programs on an ongoing basis i.e. COD. Creates innovative programs and projects to thank the steward donors.
Tracks donor relations and stewardship activities in Raisers Edge. Works on special projects and perform other duties, as assigned
Works closely with the Senior Manager of Communications to report to donors on the use of their gifts.
Formulates, directs, and coordinates the production of stewardship materials including: donor reports, thank you mailings, gift acknowledgement letters, and special occasion acknowledgements i.e. birthday, holiday greetings, etc.
