Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Quality Resources, the Policy/ Procedure & Nursing Practice Specialist is responsible to:
Lead and oversee efficient and effective operations of the policy and procedure platforms.
Coordinate, facilitate, evaluate and serve as an educator, trainer and leader for the policy and procedure platforms
Coordinate research, review, revision and approval process of all policies and procedures including Nursing Practice and the Mosby's platform.
Collaborate with leaders to assure policies meet regulatory requirements, are current and posted on-line for co-workers to reference.
Education: BSN or ASN required.
Licensure: Must have a current RN license.
Experience; Minimum three years’ experience in hospital setting. Clinical experience preferred. Healthcare regulatory knowledge and experience preferred. IS Technology/Computer and Internet experience required; familiarity and comfort with MS Office products is essential.
