This independent entity has a small number of employees with major responsibility for a long standing self-insurance program. The Director of Finance is a essential member of the senior management team. Responsibilities include: accounting, audit, benefit administration, budget, investment management oversight, payroll, and tax-related services. CPA is preferred. Five years of business experience with direct accounting responsibility is required. Excellent communication and presentation abilities necessary. Must be proficient with computer for financial programming and other business uses. Position has long term stability in a small friendly office in a city in recognized for its quality of life.
