In this role, you will have full accountability for the integration, facilitation, and coordination of the leadership, management and clinical and quality initiatives of the service at Magnet-designated Mary Washington Hospital and Lee’s Hill Freestanding Emergency Department.
Mary Washington Hospital Our Level II Trauma Center is equipped with a 50 bed, full-service, state-of-the-art Emergency Department. As the only Level II Trauma Center in the region, our Emergency Department is prepared with physicians, nurses, and the technology to handle the most serious injuries. In addition to treating common injuries and illnesses, we offer highly specialized and coordinated care to our patients through treatment programs such as:
• Primary Stroke Center • Cardiac Hypothermia Program • Chest Pain Observation Center
Lee’s Hill At our 11 bed, 24/7, full service, ambulance receiving Emergency and Outpatient Center, you’ll find an amazing interdisciplinary team that works together to ensure the best possible care and outcome of its patients.
Along with the ability to work in a stressful environment and the ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational directives, we require:
• BSN (master’s preferred) • State of Virginia RN licensure (or eligibility) • A minimum of 6 years’ nursing experience • Four years of clinical management experience
