Mount Carmel Hospice and Palliative Care, part of the Mount Carmel Health System, is central Ohio’s leading, respected provider of hospice, palliative care and bereavement services.
Mount Carmel Hospice (established 1985) and Palliative Care (established 1997) provides help and support to people and their families who are facing a life-limiting and chronic illness. Patients receive relief from pain and discomfort, as well as the emotional and spiritual support of experienced, empathetic professionals.
Our services are provided by a diverse team that includes physicians, nurses, social workers, aides, counselors, trained volunteers and chaplains. Each lends their expertise in implementing a personal and comprehensive care plan that is developed in cooperation with attending physicians and mindful of each patient’s wishes.
The Executive Director provides administrative leadership, consultation, and direction for the agency’s regional operations. This leader participates in the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan and leads local operational plans. The Executive Director is responsible for the quality, planning, marketing, and financial management of the agency’s operations.
Mount Carmel Hospice and Palliative Care is affiliated with but not part of Trinity Health At Home (THAH). THAH is recruiting for this leadership position on behalf of Mount Carmel Health System.
Master's degree in Business or Health Administration or related
Minimum of ten years of increasing responsible experience in health care administration with a minimum of five years of experience in direct home health or hospice operations/management required
Working and current knowledge of various state and federal regulations including Medicare conditions of participation for hospice and palliative care agencies, and state licensing regulations for hospice and palliative care
Able to apply a thorough knowledge of hospice and health care delivery models and relevant financial acumen
