Develops and evaluates Hosparus Health Grief Counseling Center operations and services, to include new services that meet the counseling and social service needs of patients and families, and the communities we serve.
Ensures ongoing communication of organizational activities and priorities.
Engages a team of collaborative professionals that seek to engage the community in the services that the organization delivers.
Leads the development and implementation of strategic psychosocial, spiritual care, and grief counseling programs and initiatives.
Responds promptly and addresses concerns and complaints of staff, patients, and families.
Provides leadership and consultation in complex situations including ethical issues.
Develops partnerships in the community to support end of life and bereavement services.
Collaborates closely with all staff and leaders to ensure ongoing improvement mechanisms exist pertaining to quality outcomes for psychosocial, spiritual care and grief counseling services.
Supports research and grant opportunities, to promote organizational opportunities or best practices.
Participates in hiring, onboarding, and development for counseling disciplines.
Ensures opportunities for the professional development of social workers, chaplains, and bereavement counselors to facilitate the achievement of Hosparus Health' goals.
Reviews organizational use of resources to ensure organization operates within budget, and participates in organizational decisions about the use of psychosocial, spiritual care and counseling resources and cost-control measures.
Develops and reviews policies, procedures, and compliance efforts related to counseling and psychosocial services.
Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a minimum of three years of work experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Prefer experience as a LCSW Supervisor.
Minimum eight (8) years of experience working in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
Minimum five (5) years supervisory/management experience of counseling services and programs required.
