Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG), part of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), is currently seeking Vice President of Operations for the Lehigh Valley Physician Group. This Vice President will oversee our physician group in our Hazleton & Schuylkill campuses. This position will primarily be located on our Hazleton campus, with travel to both Schuylkill and our main campus in Allentown, PA.
The Vice President has operational authority, responsibility, and accountability for a wide range of services. Provides visionary and strategic leadership to build and maintain an environment which attracts and retains employees committed to continuous quality improvement, innovation, creative problem-solving, and the application of lean principles to achieve cost efficiencies in services provided. Participates in network-wide planning activities and is an active member of network extended leadership team and other key decision-making bodies as directed by the President of LVPG and LVPG Senior Vice President. Represents LVPG and the network with utmost professionalism and consistently models LVHN PRIDE behaviors in community, business, civic, and professional activities.
Successful candidates will have a Masters’ degree in relevant health industry discipline such as Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration (with Health Services emphasis), or closely-related fields of study, plus ten years of previous and progressively more responsible work related experience in a multi-specialty medical practice setting or integrated delivery system setting. Fellowship status in a nationally recognized medical professional association highly encouraged.
